‘Bike to School Week’ Success
We are delighted to inform you about the huge success of another ‘Bike to School Week’. We were so thrilled with the children embracing an active challenge; we had some children that learnt to ride their bike especially in time for the week, some families took part altogether including some preschool children, lots of families that live so far away made special efforts by driving part of the way then cycling / scooting the rest just so they could take part!
Here are the results:
Percentage of achieved cycle or scooter trips:
Alnwick Castle Class (Reception) |
78% |
Bamburgh Castle Class (Year 1) |
54% |
Lindisfarne Castle Class (Year 2) |
47% |
Dunstanburgh Castle Class (Year 3/4) |
33% |
Ford Castle Class (Year 4/5) |
30% |
SCHOOL TOTAL |
